Aqua Crua was born from the fortuitous meeting between Francesco Dal Toso and Giuliano Baldessari. The first entrepreneur and farmer in Barbarano Vicentino, the second chef with a dream: to open his own business. The idea of transforming an old building in the center of Barbarano Vicentino into something more than a simple village restaurant was born from the intersection of the ideas and dreams of the two. Both want to create something unique for the city landscape, something special, which brings together the ideas and philosophy of one and the organization and entrepreneurship of the other.
A project that lasted two years, made up of sacrifices, ideas, comparisons. A path that has led, today, to open Aqua Crua.
Aqua Crua, a hymn to transparency and truth, right from the name, is not just a restaurant, it is a project, a different experience, isolated between the Berici and Euganean hills, a place for the soul to stop, listen, open up to the senses , where Giuliano finds peace and space to express himself and create and where he is not afraid of losing control. Thus, in 2016 comes the first recognition, the first Michelin star which for Giuliano is only the beginning of an ambitious and complex journey, for which he knows he has tools, tenacity and all the necessary madness.
