Information

PAGODA is a family of umbrellas that develops through a curved and visually light canopy, made up of two equal and opposing bodies: the upper part protects from the sun and rain, while the lower part defines a large vaulted ceiling that evenly diffuses the internal light. The project reinterprets the image of straw parasols through a new formal solution, born from the vision of designer Riccardo Giovanetti.

Materials and finishes

The colour added in the process of generation of the fibre provides a high degree of resistance of the fabric against U.V. rays, also in “aggressive” environments such as in presence of chlorine and salt.The colours do not bleach and remain steady for a long time and moreover the fabric is resistant against moisture. A specific treatment makes it water-repellent and protects it from stains. Regular brushing keeps its original appeal unchanged. UPF 50+ (UV Protection Factor). Weight 290 g/m2.
