CHESTER, born from the vision of designer Riccardo Giovanetti, draws inspiration from the Chesterfield tradition of upholstered furniture, transferring it to the upper canopy through a play of solids and voids that defines the entire elastic membrane. CHESTER is not just a canopy, but also a true outdoor lamp: a flexible and dynamic product capable of characterizing the outdoor area throughout the entire day. During the day, it provides sun protection, while at sunset and in the dark, it transforms into a totem of light.

Materials and finishes

The colour added in the process of generation of the fibre provides a high degree of resistance of the fabric against U.V. rays, also in “aggressive” environments such as in presence of chlorine and salt.The colours do not bleach and remain steady for a long time and moreover the fabric is resistant against moisture. A specific treatment makes it water-repellent and protects it from stains. Regular brushing keeps its original appeal unchanged. UPF 50+ (UV Protection Factor). Weight 290 g/m2.
